Director Michael Daus in 2011 decided to "grab luck by the tail!" and shot a sports comedy film with a savory R rating, full of original American humor, appropriate obscenity and provocative moments, under the eloquent title "Bouncer". The clearest example of this is the male lead Seann William Scott, who gladly changed the role of a rampant eccentric to a rather modest image of Doug. The character at certain moments resembles a down, on the one hand, hiding behind his mother's skirt, on the other, always ready to fight.

Doug, trying to live by the law and achieve personal success, is afraid to break away from his family, to make meaningful and independent actions of an adult. Scott, using the full acting potential, skillfully conveys the image and characteristics of his hero to the viewer. His game is not phenomenal, more experienced actors of the film "Bouncer" sometimes overshadowed the lead actor.

But Seann's character is not only funny to look at, he is strong enough and quickly wins over the viewer, despite the dubious moral impact of the tape. Liev Schreiber and JayBaruchel helped the lead actor to reveal himself in a new role, and they themselves made an indelible impression on the viewer. Without Scott, The Bouncer would have felt completely different. The actors were amazed at his inexhaustible optimism and diligence.

According to film critics, the strongest side of the Michael Daus project is not a somewhat flat plot and vulgar humor, but a strong cast, which pleases with its approach to work throughout 92 minutes of running time.
