He sincerely wanted to be a singer. To do this, he entered the music school in the vocal department. A year passed, then another. And only thanks to the happiest accident, the world of music lost an unknown voice, and the world of cinematography acquired its future star - comrade Sukhov. It is under this name that everyone knows and so loves the actor Anatoly Kuznetsov.

Choice of profession

Anatoly Borisovich was born in Moscow on the last day of 1930 - December 31st. At that time, the Kuznetsovs huddled in a communal apartment located in Honey Lane. The head of the family was a professional singer and worked in jazz, radio and opera. So it seemed to everyone that the path of Kuznetsov Jr. was already predetermined: after all, the boy loves music, and he has good vocal abilities.

In general, this is what happened: after graduating from 10 classes, Anatoly Kuznetsov decides to connect his life with music and enters a music school. And then something happened that the artist himself jokingly called "seduction" from the true path. First, his teacher, who taught stagecraft, apparently noticing the student's ability toreincarnation, she began to constantly tell Anatoly that the voice is a fragile thing, often disappearing, so Nina Osipovna strongly advised him on a theatrical career. An end to the "seduction" was put by a cousin, by that time already a well-known artist Mikhail Kuznetsov. And in 1951, Anatoly Kuznetsov decided to become an actor.

Road to cinema

In order for admission to a theater university to be guaranteed, Kuznetsov submits documents at two at once: so then I had to take exams at both the Shchukin School and the Moscow Art Theater School. The result was amazing: he was among those enrolled in both educational institutions. And again, Michael helped in the choice, giving his brother the main argument - the continuation of the family tradition. So the biography of Anatoly Kuznetsov as an artist began at the Moscow Art Theater.

The graduation performance based on Turgenev's "Freeloader" (the character Kuzovkin) took place in 1955. According to the distribution of the young actor, the wonderful Yaroslavl Drama Theater named after Volkov was waiting, but did not wait. It turns out that while still studying at the studio school, Anatoly Kuznetsov became interested in cinema. His filmography begins in 1954, when he made his debut in the feature film Dangerous Paths. In this picture, Kuznetsov played a positive character. It was a story about how a young scientist Vasily Zheludev exposed an experienced saboteur.

Anatoly Kuznetsov: family

In the year of graduation from the Moscow Art Theater Studio, our hero starred in two films at once, and the next year he worked in three films at once. Among them"A case at mine eight" (directed by Vladimir Basov).

At the same time, the biography of Anatoly Kuznetsov was replenished with one important fact - marriage. He met Alexandra as a student at one of Galina Volchek's parties. The fact that the girl is the daughter of the legendary pilot Lyapidevsky, the one who participated in the rescue of the Chelyuskinites, for which he was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union, did not stop Anatoly at all. He courted persistently for several years.

Leaving to shoot, he tried to call Sasha almost daily. It remained to take the decisive step. One day, quite unexpectedly arriving in Moscow from Kyiv, Anatoly Borisovich first of all appeared at Alexandra's and from the threshold invited her to go with him. The girl was only able to whisper frightened something about her parents, who are in the next room. But Kuznetsov resolutely announced his intention to marry them too, to which Alexandra's mother stated that her daughter should soon go to school, and her father agreed to the marriage. And the wedding took place.

Alexandra Anatolyevna successfully entered and graduated from the directing department of VGIK, filmed popular science films and faithfully waited for her husband from creative business trips. But several years will pass, and a sore point will appear in an interview, which Anatoly Kuznetsov (actor) will avoid - children.

Finally, in 1974, his wife gave him a daughter, Irina. The reason for the unpleasant topic disappeared on its own. The beloved heiress grew up, graduated from Moscow University, and Irina devoted her life toKuznetsov art.

These different, different roles

There were a lot of shootings. In the fifties, Anatoly Kuznetsov played in nine films. The filmography of the sixties already has 14 works.

  • In 1960, he appeared on the screens as the driver Lenka in "Wait for letters." According to critics, it was one of his most successful roles of that time.
  • In the same year, he created the image of Andreev in Fortuna.
  • In 1961, Kuznetsov appeared before the audience as pioneer leader Serey Rudenko (“My friend, Kolka!”).
  • In 1962, he starred in two films at once: Alder Island and How I Was Independent.
  • In 1963, the negative character Pavel from Morning Trains also appeared.
  • 1964 was marked by the comedy "Give me a book of complaints", where the hero Ivan Ilyich Kondakov had to be left without a bride.
  • Packet and Conscience were released in 1965.

Comrade Sukhov

The picture is released in 1970. Without this main role, the biography of Anatoly Kuznetsov as an artist could be completely different. But what happened happened. It was from this film and until now, for millions of viewers, he remains an ageless comrade Sukhov.

This soldier, born in the middle of the desert, worth, according to his comrade, a whole company, from the first second he is endearing. His masterly grasp of the Russian peasant is visible in everything - both in everyday life and in battle. Fedor Sukhov is perceived as a genuine person, so his name passed to the artist.

Unprecedented popularity artist Anatoly Kuznetsov accepted with dignity. Do not shake his family beliefs and letters from tens of thousands of fans. Even to such incidents as the story (by the way, completely genuine) about his double traveling around cities and towns, he only smiled and shrugged apologetically.

Abroad

The tape "White Sun of the Desert" seemed to open the iron curtain, so genuine was the interest of foreign viewers in it. And along with the film, our hero often traveled around the countries. As the artist himself admitted, it was interesting for him to look at himself speaking either French, or Japanese, or Spanish.

Ten African countries were visited by Anatoly Kuznetsov, not counting Europe, he even visited Mexico and Japan. And for some reason, the image of Fyodor Sukhov was perceived by all nations very close to the heart. Apparently, his male charisma has become international.

And in one of the eastern countries an anecdotal situation happened. Before showing the film to a wide audience, people from government agencies got acquainted with the film. One of them was dissatisfied with the picture. How can this be: he has only two wives in the harem, and some Soviet soldier has nine of them.

And one more aspect to Kuznetsov's acting life addedSukhov. The artist was invited to act in films by foreign directors. The result of this cooperation was three films: in 1976 the Soviet-Bulgarian "Brother" and the Soviet-Czechoslovak "One piece of silver", in 1979 - "Gordubal".

Roles that passed by

Anatoly Borisovich never had a shortage of offers to take part in this or that picture. But he himself sometimes refused to work, which he later regretted very much. The main role in M. Ershov's film "Native Blood" went to Evgeny Matveev, and in the film "Chairman" Ivan Lapikov played instead of him.

The most embarrassing of the losses was Maxim Podberezovikov, an investigator from Beware of the Car. At first, this image seemed to Kuznetsov cloyingly positive and boring. But when the film was released, already at the first viewing, the artist's heart sank from resentment at himself for inattentively reading the script.

Everything paid off a little later in the "White Sun of the Desert". But it was here that Anatoly Kuznetsov was accidental. Georgy Yumatov was approved for the role of Sukhov, who was prevented by unforeseen circumstances from taking part in the filming, and then everyone rushed to look for a new applicant. One of the screenwriters lived near Kuznetsov and, having met Anatoly by chance, offered him the role. And hit the bull's-eye.

And there was also the loss of an investigator (implemented by Georgy Burkov) from the "Old Robbers", work in the famous Ryazan "Garage" (chairman of the garage cooperative) also passed by. Kuznetsov also refused to shoot in the “Award” with S. Mikaelyan, this rolewent to Oleg Yankovsky. But still, Sukhov has already happened in the life of our hero in the film that every artist dreams of.
