History of Creation

After writing Ender's Game, enough time passed before a new series of books about Bob appeared. Over the years, the "Game" has become extremely popular among schoolchildren and adults. The point was that the first part was aboutteenage boy and abounded in various action scenes. Other books from this series could not boast of such a thing, they told about adult characters, and therefore did not enjoy such success.

Orson Scott Card wondered if he could write more about teenagers. The world was so thoughtful and interesting that I did not want to leave it. The writer even thought about allowing other authors to create their own stories within his world. Orson Scott Card was especially interested in Neil Shusterman. But in the process of working with another writer, Ender's creator realized that he wasn't ready to share his world yet. Then he decided to write a series about Bob himself.

Orson Scott Card was born in the USA in the city of Richland. After leaving school, he decided to continue his education and become a philologist. Then he entered the University of Utah. After receiving a bachelor's degree, Orson did not stop and became a master. Along with this, and after the end of his student life, Card worked as a literary critic. But only reviews of other people's books did not bring him any money, no fame, no satisfaction. Then he decided to leave his old job.

Freed from the duties of a critic, the writer became a volunteer and went to Brazil. He lived there for three years, and then decided to return to Utah. His new position was much closer to literary creativity - he began to write for the local theater. But this position did not bring enough money. And soon Card was out of work when the theater closed.

Fear of bankruptcy led Orson Scott Card to write the first Ender book. She quickly became popular. Thus began to be born a whole world in which Ender and his comrades live.
