The film crew tries to ignore the surrounding political reality, ignoring it as much as possible. Everyone dreams of emigrating to Paris. Another landmark film in Elena Solovey's career was Almantas Grikevičius' war drama Fact, released in 1980. For her role in this film, Elena was awarded a nomination for Best Actress at the Cannes International Film Festival.
