Various comedians became especially widespread in the early 90s, when censorship subsided, and it became easier to get into the media sphere. Many comedians tried to win the love of the public. Personalities such as Zadornov, Yakubovich or Oleinikov became celebrities thanks to their projects. There is, however, a character that stands out from the rest. This is Evgeny Petrosyan.

Childhood

Yevgeny was born in 1945 in the city of Baku. His father was the mathematician Vagan Petrosyan, and his mother was Bella Grigoryevna. From childhood, little Eugene wanted to make people laugh. Admission to one of the schools helped him achieve what he wanted, although in the post-war years it was not easy. He used the opportunities given to him to the maximum: he participated in performances, trained acting, and was engaged in amateur performances. The first tour became an important event for the Petrosyan family, then he participated in the team of the sailors' club. On the day the tour began, Evgeny was seen off by about twenty relatives.

Creativity, education, merit

In 1961, Yevgeny Petrosyan decided to professionally engage in humor, and therefore moved from Baku to Moscow. He couldto enter the All-Russian Creative Workshop of Variety Art named after L. Maslyukov. A year later he performed on the big stage.

In 1964 he got on television, where he led the Blue Light. After that moment, his career took off. He participated in many projects, some of which he even initiated on his own. So, for example, in 1979 he founded the Theater of Variety Miniatures. In the 80s, he received a second higher education at GITIS, this time directing. Already in 1991 he received the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR, and four years later he was awarded the Order of Honor for services to the state and many years of fruitful activity in the field of art and culture.

Petrosyan became especially popular at the time of the Full House TV program, where he regularly performed and fell in love with the audience. There were many joint concerts with other celebrities. So, for example, everyone knows the humor of Petrosyan and Stepanenko. An important milestone is the participation of Eugene in "Smehopanorama" (since 1994) and the show "Crooked Mirror" (since 2003).

What is Petrosyan like today?

Behind Eugene's shoulders are many projects, concerts and TV shows. However, despite his age, he tries to follow the innovations of the 21st century. He even has his own Instagram account, where he regularly posts new photos. Tours across Russia also continue, for which age, of course, is not a hindrance. Petrosyan's humor is a unique phenomenon on the Russian stage, which has become a cult and has contributed to the national culture.
