Worms are usually installed with the Windows operating system from the earliest versions. Therefore, almost every PC user at least once tried his hand at this exciting card game. Even if you are hearing about it for the first time, after spending a few minutes reading this article, you will understand how to play Hearts.

Distribution and exchange of cards

They play with a full deck, that is, 52 sheets. Four people take part in the game (in the computer version, three of your opponents are virtual, but you can fight with real people over the network if you wish). Opponents take turns dealing all the cards in a circle, starting with the player sitting on the left. Accordingly, after the distribution, everyone has 13 cards left in their hands.

By agreement, before the start of the game, you can exchange any three cards with one of the opponents (the order of the exchange must also be observed). Which cards are better to throw off, you will understand a little later.

Game flow and basic rules

The first move is always the one with the deuce of clubs. That's where he comes from. Next movesclockwise do the rest of the players. You always need to move according to the suit, but in its absence, you can discard any. A trick of the player whose card of a given suit is higher in face value (usual seniority: ace, king, queen, jack, ten, etc.). The game continues until all cards are gone.

The task is to take as few cards with a red heart as possible (one pen alty point is awarded for each) and not grab the Queen of Spades (13 points). In this case, the number of bribes does not matter. After each draw, points are calculated. In total, as it is easy to calculate, 26 pen alty points are played in each hand.

It is clear that in a real game it is desirable to keep a record. The game ends when one of the opponents scores a total of 100 or more points. He is considered a loser. The winner is the one who at this moment has the fewest pen alty points. The highest "chic" is to finish the game with a "dry" score.

Note that computer versions are available in both English and Russian. To play "Hearts" in the English version, you need to follow the same rules.

Nuances

In this game there is also the concept of "roll the dynamo". It means that one of the players who has strong cards in his hand will take all the cards with pen alty points in one hand at once. In this case, the remaining three players are recorded 26 points each, and the lucky one remains "dry". Below is a recording of a theoretical game, when such a trick to one playermanaged to do four times in a row.

Another important nuance: none of the players can walk from the cards of the heart suit until he runs out of the rest. At the same time, you can go from the ladies of spades at any time (if such a need suddenly arose).

The rules, as you can see, are very simple. We hope you now understand how to play Hearts and, most importantly, win.
